1 (Router) O Digenerate oleh semua router; daftar neighbor dan cost menuju mereka; dipropagasi di dalam satu area
2 (Network) O Digenerate oleh DR pada multiaccess network; dipropagasi di dalam satu area
3 (Inter-area summary) O IA Mengadvertise summary dari satu area ke area lainnya
4 (ASBR Summary) O IA Mengadvertise lokasi dimana ASBR berada
5 (External) O E1/O E2 Mengadvertises ruter eksternal ke dalam Autonomous System
